Lobe reconstruction is a minimally invasive and highly effective surgery that involves removing the skin fragment that forms the walls of the hole from the inside, and then sealing them again with minimal sutures, on the front and back of the lobe. These are removed after one week.
It is performed on an outpatient basis, in 30 minutes, with local anesthesia. A new hole can be made after a month, although it is recommended to do it a few millimeters away from the original hole.
